a relaxing experience

With over five years of experience photographing and working with newborns, I am well accustomed to the nerves and anxiety that come with welcoming a newborn in your home. Your session will be relaxing with a simple and organic feel. I want to capture the real connection and emotion which comes with gentle direction so you aren't left feeling awkward.

This session is held in my Thirlmere studio, and includes individual images of your baby, as well as sibling, parent and family photos.

My style is simplistic & Natural

I'll focus on capturing the essence of your baby and all the details that make them so special. Their fuzzy shoulders to their tiny little toes. This session includes a range of relaxed, posed and macro detail images. I want these images to not only preserve what your newborn looks like but to remind you of what they felt like to hold in your arms. I love to capture the tenderness and connection between you and your baby. Forever bottling up that feeling of new love!

Newborn sessions take place in the first 1 - 2 weeks of life

A session fee is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your session date. After your session, you will receive a private online gallery containing your images, with a mixture of both colour and black and white images.

FAQ

 

How long does a newborn session last?

Your newborn session is held at my Thirlmere studio, and will run anywhere between 1-3 hours, with most sessions being finished up in just under 2 hours. This is dependent on how settled baby is.

Can siblings and parents be photographed?

Absolutely, in fact I encourage it! There is no additional charge. I simple ask that siblings are only in the room when they are needed for photos to help ensure a relaxed and calm environment.

How do I book a newborn session when I don't know when they'll arrive?

When we book in you newborn session - the date remains tentative until your baby is here, then we will shuffle around to secure a firm date to shoot.

How does payment work? Can I have a payment plan?

You will be required to pay your session fee of $100 at the time of booking. This confirms your booking and covers my time. The remainder of your package is due in full 7 days before the session. I also accommodate payment plans if you need to split your package over time! We can work out a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly plan for the package to be paid off before the shoot.

Where is your studio?

My Studio is in Thirlmere, I will send you the exact address after booking.

DO WE BRING OUR OWN PROPS FOR THE BABY?

No need to! I have an extensive range of wraps and props which adhere to my style and I prefer to use.
